Food Poverty Support

We are dedicated to creating long-term, sustainable outcomes for those experiencing food poverty.

We support people and families with emergency food provision and give them assistance in addressing the underlying causes of food poverty.

Our food poverty team operates a food collection & casework service in 7 locations all over Dublin: Blanchardstown, Bonnybrook/Coolock, Finglas, Jobstown, Neilstown, Nutgrove & Portland Row. If you, or anyone you know, is in need of support with food, please contact us

Email: foodcaseworkservice@crosscare.ie

Community Café

Our community café in Portland Row is open to the public for breakfast and lunch from 8 am Monday to Friday. We serve affordable, healthy meals in a friendly community setting.

Our food services are supported by the European Social Fund Plus (ESF+) Food & Basic Material Support to help people take their first steps out of poverty and social exclusion. The Department of Social Protection manages this programme in Ireland. The programme provides non-perishable food to us to support families and individuals in need.
