Join our Crosscare Volunteer Team!

Crosscare has hundreds of wonderful volunteers involved in our various services, and we welcome applications for different volunteer roles. We truly value our volunteers’ input as we feel they provide a unique and vital link between our service users and the wider community. Without the valuable assistance of our volunteers, we would not be able to provide such a high standard of service to our service users.

We want our volunteers to feel part of our organisation and hope that if you volunteer with us, you will find your experience with us enjoyable, valuable and rewarding.

The Crosscare Volunteer programme can be contacted on 086 068 3444   or email volunteer@crosscare.ie. Reference checks are required for all our roles, and Garda vetting is required for any relevant work with vulnerable adults and/or children.

Current Volunteering Opportunities

Polish-English Interpreter

Poszukujemy wolontariuszy znających język Polski!

Our Crosscare Housing & Welfare Information supports hundreds of families and individuals on housing, homelessness and social welfare issues. We urgently require Polish-speaking volunteers with fluent English to act as interpreters to assist us with delivering our service to the Polish community on Tuesday mornings from 10 am to 1 pm. Fluent English and Polish are required; however, volunteers will be supported and supervised at all times, so knowledge of housing, homelessness and social welfare services and schemes is not needed. The service operates from our Dublin city centre office at 2 St Marys Place North, Dublin 7.
Volunteers will gain an insight and understanding of the social welfare system and the experience of migrants accessing social protection.
If you want more information on this service and an application form, please get in touch with Tracey  at 086 068 3444 or volunteer@crosscare.ie
