Sinead Harris, manager of Crosscare’s Ronanstown Youth Service, addressed the National Stakeholders Forum on Sustainable Development Goals –“Leave No-One Behind”.
This critical Forum, attended by Minister for Environment, Climate, Communications and Transport Eamon Ryan, heard directly from Sinead and other stakeholders on what national and local policymakers should take into account when developing policy to ensure that no one is left behind.
Sinead spoke about Crosscare’s direct work with young people and the lack of vital mental health services in communities.
The messages developed as part of this meeting will be shared across national and local government.
They will be used as part of the development of Sustainable Development Goals training for civil servants and local authority officers.
