On Thursday, May 15th, 30 representatives from Crosscare, including service users, volunteers, and staff, will set off on the first-ever Crosscare Camino.
The group will arrive in Santiago de Compostela on Monday, May 19th, after walking over 20 km daily. This dedicated group has spent many months training and bonding, and we are so proud of them all.
To mark our first-ever Crosscare Camino, we invite all Crosscare staff, volunteers, and supporters to walk the first 5 km with the Camino Group in your local area on Thursday, the 15th. Donations can be accepted online, and any money raised will support our Clan service.
Clan works with people who have moved out of homeless accommodation and into their homes. CLAN supports people in adapting, finding stability in their new communities, and remaining engaged with others in similar situations. Last year alone, they supported almost 200 people through social groups, home visits and phone support.
They work with clients on various issues, such as helping with at-risk tenancies, employment and education, budgeting and financial support, addiction support, mental health support, physical health support, food support, and social support.
