Crosscare involves hundreds of wonderful volunteers across our services, and we welcome applications for a wide variety of volunteer roles. Our volunteers provide a unique and essential link between our service users and the wider community, and we value their contribution to our work.

If you choose to volunteer with us, we will do all we can to make you feel part of the Crosscare family and match you with a role that you will find enjoyable, helpful, and rewarding.

There is a planned approach involving volunteers in Crosscare, no matter how big or small the programme is. Like every volunteer, every role description is unique, so our goal is to find the right match between the volunteer and the service. We talk through the role with the volunteer and invite them to come for a visit before proceeding with their application. Every volunteer has a dedicated volunteer manager who ensures that they are appropriately inducted, trained, supported and recognised to carry out their role confidently. Volunteers give their precious time to us for free, so our responsibility in Crosscare is to ensure time is well spent.
