The Community Outreach Centre in Arklow was launched by Archbishop Diarmuid Martin
on 13th November 2013. The houses were donated to Crosscare by the Sisters of Mercy for the service of the local community
The centre is a partnership of locally established community groups and services aimed to help those most in need in the local community:

Suicide Awareness and Prevention Training : SafeTALK
Tuesday 11th February 2014 - 9.45 am - 1.00 pm
This course is suitable for anyone who would like to prevent suicide in our community. The course is free of charge but booking is essential. Please contact 01 8219892 to book a place. This programme is coordinated by HSE Mental Health Promotion & Suicide Prevention.
Crosscare Connections - Friendship for people living alone
A service to reduce isolation for older people or family carers or anyone who would like some company. We can arrange for a visitor to call every week for a chat or to give a carer a break. Crosscare Blanchardstown Foodbank
This service runs in partnership with the Society of St. Vincent dePaul to support families in need of emergency food support in Dublin 15. Please join us in combatting food poverty by hosting a food drive in your area or call us to find out how you can support this initiative.

Teen Counselling Service now available in Dublin 15
Our teen counselling service helps teenagers and their families with difficulties they experience. This free and confidential service is for 12- 18 year olds and their parents/guardians. Crosscare Drug and Alcohol Programme: Counselling service
Crosscare Drug and Alcohol Programme has launched a free counselling service. This one-to-one counselling service is available to people over 18 years of age with any concerns arising from drink or drug use. If you are concerned about your own substance-use or about drink or drug-use by another person, this service is open to you. Counselling is available in Crosscare Blanchardstown by appointment . Carers Support Service for Parents of children with ADHD and other Special Needs
Are you a parent caring full time or part time for a child who may have a special need, a disability or long term illness ? You are welcome at support group on 2nd Monday of each month from 10.30 - 12 pm - for a chance to chat, to listen and meet other parents. Cura: Crisis Pregnancy Support Services
Counselling and Support for a Crisis or Unplanned Pregnancy, Support to Mothers and Fathers of a New Baby. Cura provides a telephone and a drop in service and appointments can be made outside of these opening hours if necessary.
